6 yaş okul öncesi çocuklarına yönelik cesaret temelli değerler eğitimi uygulamalarının etkililiği

Abstract

Bu araştırma, 6 yaş okul öncesi dönem çocuklarına yönelik geliştirilen cesaret temelli değerler eğitim uygulamalarının çocukların cesaret değer kazanımına etkililiğinin incelenmesi amacıyla ön test son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desenle incelenerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ili Başakşehir ilçesinde bulunan özel bir anaokuluna devam eden 6 yaş grubu çocuklar oluşturmuştur. Araştırma 20 çocuk deney grubu, 20 çocuk kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 40 çocukla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan cesaret temelli değerler eğitim Uygulamaları çocukların cesaret değer kazanımlarına katkı sağlamayı amaçlamıştır. Eğitim uygulamaları 18 oturum olarak hazırlanıp haftada üç gün olarak araştırmacı tarafından deney grubuna uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen '' Cesaret Değeri Gözlem Formu'' kullanılmıştır. Kontrol grubu ve deney grubunun gözlem formundan aldıkları ilk test ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemek ve grupları karşılaştırmak için Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar ve Mann-Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda cesaret temelli değerler eğitimi uygulamaları çocukların cesaret değeri kazanımında etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Cesaret değeri gözlem formu verilerine göre değer kazanımlarının anlamlı derecede arttığı görülmüştür. Deney grubu ilk test son test bulgularına göre, gözlem formunda yer alan maddelerin tümü deney grubu öğrencilerinde artış göstermiştir. Veri analizinden elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda maddeler incelendiğinde, özellikle çocukların tümünde, haksızlığa uğradığındahakkını savunma, başkalarının davranışlarından doğru ya da yanlış bulduklarını ifade etme, grup oyunlarında risk alma maddelerinin tamamında artış olduğu görüldü. Bu da çocuklara cesaret temelli değerler eğitimi uygulamalarının etkililiğini, haklarını savunabilen, doğru ve yanlış buldukları davranışları ifade edebilen, grup oyunlarında risk alabilen bireyler olduklarını göstermektedir.

This research was carried out by examining control group, pre-test, post-test, quasi-experimental design in order to examine the effectiveness of the courage-based values education applications developed for preschool children on the development of children's courage. The sample of the research is composed of 6-year-old children who continue to a special kindergarten located in Başakşehir, province of Istanbul. The research was carried out with total of 40 children, 20 children as experimental group and 20 child as control group. The "courage based values training applications" developed by the researcher aims to contribute to the development of children's courage. The training applications was prepared as 18 sessions and applied to the experimental group by the researcher three days a week. The "Courage Variety Observation Form " developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool in the research. The Wilcoxon Sign or Mann-Whitney U Test was used to determine if there was a significant difference between the initial test and post-test scores of the control group and the experimental group on the observation form, and to compare the groups. As a result of the findings obtained from this study, it was determined that courage based values education applications was effective in the children's acquisition of courage value. Valuations have increased significantly in comparison to the courage value observation form data. According to the experimental group 's first test post - test results, three of the items in the observation form increased in all experimental group students. When the items were analyzed according to the results obtained from the data analysis, it was seen that all of the children, especially in the children, had the right to defend their rights when they were wronged, to express that they found others to be correct or not, and all of the risk-taking items were increased in group games. This shows that children are the individuals who can defend the rights of the education applications they are taking, can express their rights and can take risks in group games.
