Çözüm odaklı grupla çalışmanın mülteci öğrencilerin sosyal uyum ve benlik saygısı düzeylerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, "Çözüm Odaklı Sosyal Hizmet Müdahale Programı'nın", mülteci öğrencilerin sosyal uyum ve benlik saygısı düzeylerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, çözüm odaklı yaklaşımlardan biri olan grupla sosyal hizmet müdahale programı aracılığıyla mülteci öğrencilerin sosyal uyum ve benlik saygısı düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve belirlenen sonuçlar doğrultusunda sosyal uyum ve benlik saygısının artırılması açısından uygulanması gereken süreçlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda mülteci öğrencilere yönelik, çözüm odaklı grupla sosyal hizmet müdahale programı hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılacak mülteci öğrencileri belirlemek amacıyla, 2019-2020 eğitim ve öğretim yılında İstanbul İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı bir lisede 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıflarda öğrenim gören mülteci öğrencilere, "Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği", "Sosyal Uyum Kedini Değerlendirme Ölçeği" ve "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" uygulanmıştır. Her iki ölçeğin ön test ölçümlerinden elde edilen puanlar düşükten yükseğe doğru sıralanmış; alt ve üst gruplar sıralamadan çıkarılmıştır. Uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen katılımcılar, deney ve kontrol gruplarından birine seçkisiz olarak atanmıştır. Araştırma 16 deney, 16 kontrol grubunda yer almak üzere toplam 32 lise öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçme araçları, müdahalelerin başlamasından 2 hafta önce ön test ölçümü olarak, müdahalelerden 2 hafta sonra son test ölçümü olarak uygulanmıştır. Son test ölçümlerinden 2 ay sonra ise deneysel işlemin kalıcılığını belirlemek amacıyla izleme ölçümü olarak deney ve kontrol gruplarındaki katılımcılara tekrar uygulanmıştır. Bu ölçümlerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde, ölçüm ve gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farkın olup olmadığını belirlemek için; tek faktör üzerinde tekrarlı ölçümler için "İki Faktörlü Varyans Analizi Tekniği" kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 24.0 paket programı yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular, Çözüm Odaklı Sosyal Hizmet Müdahale Programı'nın deney gruplarında yer alan katılımcıların ölçeklerden elde edilen sosyal uyum ve benlik saygısı düzeylerini yükselttiğini ve bu durumun izleme ölçümlerinde de devam ettiğini ortaya koymuştur.

In this study, the effect of the "Solution-Focused Social Work Intervention Program" on the social adaptation and self-esteem levels of refugee students was investigated. In this research, it is aimed to determine the social adaptation and self-esteem levels of refugee students through the group social work intervention program, which is one of the solution-oriented approaches, and to determine the processes that should be applied in order to increase social adaptation and self-esteem in line with the determined results. In line with the purpose of the research, a solution-oriented group social work intervention program was prepared for refugee students. In order to determine the refugee students who will participate in the research, the "Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale", "Assessment of the Social Adaptation Cat" and "Personal Information Form" were applied. Were administered to the refugee students studying in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades in a high school affiliated to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education in the 2019-2020 academic year. The scores obtained from the pre-test measurements of both scales were ordered from low to high; lower and upper groups were excluded from the ranking. Participants selected by convenient sampling method were randomly assigned to one of the experimental and control groups. The research was carried out with 32 high school students, 16 of which were in the experimental group and 16 in the control group. The measurement tools used in the study were applied as a pre-test measurement 2 weeks before the start of the interventions and as a post-test measurement 2 weeks after the interventions. Two months after the post-test measurements, it was applied again to the participants in the experimental and control groups as a follow-up measure to determine the permanence of the experimental process. In the analysis of the data obtained from these measurements, in order to determine whether there is a significant difference between the measurement and the groups; "Two Factor Analysis of Variance Technique" was used for repeated measurements on a single factor. The data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 24.0 package program. The findings obtained in the study revealed that the Solution-Oriented Social Work Intervention Program increased the social adaptation and self-esteem levels obtained from the scales of the participants in the experimental groups, and this situation continued in the follow-up measurements.
