İmam Hatip liselerinde okutulan İslâm Kültür ve Medeniyeti dersi öğretim programının öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesi

Abstract

İslâm medeniyeti, alemlere rahmet olarak gönderilen İslâm peygamberi Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v.) ile tarih sahnesine taşınan vahiy şekillendirdiği aklın inşa ettiği bir medeniyet tecrübesidir. İmam Hatip Liselerinin 12. sınıflarında okutulan İslâm Kültür ve Medeniyeti dersi söz konusu tecrübeyi gelecek nesillere aktarabilmenin bir vesilesi olarak önem arz etmektedir. "İmam Hatip Liselerinde Okutulan İslâm Kültür ve Medeniyeti Dersi Öğretim Programının Öğretmen Görüşlerine Göre İncelenmesi" konulu araştırma "karma yöntem" çalışması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bilimsel yöntemlerle elde edilen bulgular, ilgili literatürle karşılaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasındaki İmam Hatip Liselerinde görev yapan 130 öğretmene uygulanan anketler ile 21 öğretmenle yapılan görüşmeler neticesinde elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiş ve öğretmenlerin profilleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; İslam Kültür ve Medeniyeti dersi Talim Terbiye Kurulu'nun kararına rağmen, %80'e varan oranda dersin İmam Hatip Liseleri meslek dersleri öğretmenleri tarafından okutulduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin %66'sı söz konusu dersin yeni ihdas edilecek İslam Kültür ve Medeniyeti öğretmenliği mezunu öğretmenlerce okutulması gerektiğini ifade etmişleridir. Öğretmenlerin %60'ı hizmet öncesi aldıkları eğitimleri yetersiz görürken, %85,71'i derse ayrılan haftalık iki ders saatlik sürenin yetersiz olduğunu ve dersin 9. Sınıftan itibaren her yıl zorunlu ders olarak okutulması gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. İslâm Kültür ve Medeniyeti dersinin tüm ortaöğretim kurumlarında zorunlu ders olarak okutulması fikri nicel araştırma boyutunda %47,7 olarak ileri sürülürken, nitel boyutta bu oran %90,47 olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Öğretmenlerin %85,71'i İslâm Kültür ve Medeniyeti dersi öğretim programını öğrencilerde sağlıklı bir medeniyet tasavvuru geliştirmesi bakımından yetersiz görürken, %85,82'si söz konusu dersin öğretim programının yeniden yapılandırılması gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Elde edilen bulgulara ilişkin çözüm önerileri sonuç, tartışmalar ve öneriler bölümde ayrıntılı olarak açıklanmıştır.Islamic civilization is a civilization experience built by the mind shaped by the revelation that was brought to the stage of history with the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Islamic Culture and Civilization course, which is taught in the 12th grades of Imam Hatip High Schools, is important today as a means of transferring the abovementioned experience to future generations. The research on "Examination of the Islamic Culture and Civilization Course Curriculum Taught in Imam Hatip High Schools According to Teachers' Views" is carried out with a "mixed method" study. The findings obtained by scientific methods are interpreted by comparing them with the relevant literature. The findings obtained as a result of the questionnaires applied to 130 teachers working in Imam Hatip High Schools on the European side of Istanbul and interviews with 21 teachers are evaluated and the profiles of the teachers are revealed. According to the findings obtained in the research; Despite the decision of the Board of Education and Discipline for the Islamic Culture and Civilization course, it has been determined that up to 80% of the course is taught by the vocational course teachers of Imam Hatip High Schools. 66% of the teachers stated that the course in question should be taught by the graduate teachers of the newly formed Islamic Culture and Civilization teachership discipline. While 60% of the teachers consider the pre-service training to be insufficient, 85.71% of them stated that the two hours per week allocated to the course is insufficient and that the course should be taught as a compulsory course every year starting from the 9th grade. While the idea of teaching the Islamic Culture and Civilization course as a compulsory course in all secondary education institutions was put forward as 47.7% in the quantitative research dimension, this rate was 90.47% in the qualitative dimension. While 85.71% of the teachers found the Islamic Culture and Civilization course curriculum insufficient in terms of developing a healthy conception of civilization in students, 85.82% stated that the curriculum of the course in question should be restructured. Solution suggestions regarding the findings obtained are explained in detail in the sections of conclusion, discussions, and suggestions.
