Mağrib’de Dînî Düşüncenin Gelişimi ve Muhammed b. Yusuf es-Senûsi

Abstract

Mağrib, geneli itibariyle günümüzde Eş’arî inanç ekolünü benimsemiştir. Bu kabulün başlangıcı ve kökleşmesinde Muhammed b. Yûsuf es-Senûsî’nin katkıları önemlidir. Senûsî’nin bu etkisini anlamak için Mağrib’e, yani Kuzey Afrika’nın onun özelinde gelişimine bakmak gerekir. Senûsî, Mağrib coğrafyasında 832-895/1428-1492 yılları arasında, Cezayir’in Tilimsan kentinde, Abdülvâdîler devletinin himayesinde yaşamıştır. Abdülvâdîler, Merînîler ve Hafsîler devletleriyle bölgede Muvahhidlerin Eş’arî anlayışını devam ettirmeye çalışmışlardır. Muvahhidler ise Murabıtların katı dini anlayışına karşı Eş’arî mezhebini bölgede yayan bir devlet olmuştur. Senûsî de Muvahhidlerden gelen bu Eş’arî yapıyı bölgede kökleştiren isim olmuştur. Öyle ki Mağrib bu çabalar sayesinde bugün dahi Eş’arî inanç ekolünü benimsemiştir. Bu makalede Senûsî’nin yaşadığı bölge, siyasî ve kültürel açıdan Senûsî özelinde ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca Eş’arîliğin Senûsî devrine kadar olan gelişimi de değerlendirilecektir. Böylece Mağrib’in dînî düşüncesi ile Senûsî’nin bu düşüncedeki etkisi ortaya çıkarılmaya gayret edilecektir.

Maghrib has generally adopted the school of Asharism faith today. In the beginning and root of this acceptance, Muhammed b. Yusuf al-Sanusi's contributions are important. In order to understand this effect of al-Sanusi, one must look at the development of Maghrib, North Africa. al-Sanusi lived in Maghreb geography between 832-895 / 1428-1492, in the city of Tlemcen, Algeria under the patronage of the Abd al-Wadids state. Abd al-Wadids, Marinids and Hafsids, together with their states, tried to maintain the understanding of the Almohads in the region. The Almohads, on the other hand, became a state that spread the Asharism sect in the region against the strict religious understanding of the Almoravids. al-Sanusi was also the name that rooted this Ashari structure from the Almohads in the region. So much so that Maghreb has adopted the school of Asharism faith even today thanks to these efforts. In this article, the region where al-Sanusi lives will be discussed politically and culturally. In addition, the evolution of the Asharism until the period of al-Sanusi will be evaluated. Thus, efforts will be made to reveal the religious thought of the Maghrib and the influence of al-Sanusi on this thought.
