Özet
Human beings have always been a part of production and consumption activities throughout history. Based on the ownership of factors of production, which are labor, land, Capital, and entrepreneurship, men and women have always taken variant roles in different economic activities. In other words, based on the ownership of the factors of production, the structure of the economic system has varied and took different names based on the mainstream economic history thought. It is necessary to distinguish between several periods to trace the stages of socio-economic change that humankind has göne through since its creation. According to the mainstream history of economics, fırst, human beings lived only as consumers, using and consuming nature’s products without any contribution. This period ended with the agricultural revolution created by man through domesticating plants and animals. That is when man became not only a consumer but also a producer.
