Okulun mimari ve tarihi özelliklerinin etkileyiciliği ile örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı okulların mimari ve tarihi özelliklerinin etkileyiciliği ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılıkları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Ayrıca kişisel bilgi formunda yer alan değişkenlerle; ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin, okulun mimari ve tarihi özelliklerinin etkileyiciliği ile kurumsal bağlılıklarına ilişkin algıları arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Araştırma evrenini 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Beyoğlu ve Fatih ilçeleri sınırları içerisinde yer alan, ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan 450 öğretmenden oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi amaçlı ölçüt örnekleme ile seçilen, İstanbul'un Avrupa yakasında 13 adet tarihi okulda görev yapan 228 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veriler likert tipi ölçeklerle toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 20 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin karşılaştırılmasında; iki grup arasındaki farkı t-test, ikiden fazla grupta parametrelerin gruplar arası karşılaştırılmalarında tek yönlü varyans analizi (One -Way ANOVA) ve farklılığın kaynağını tespit etmek için Post-Hoc Scheffe testi kullanılmıştır. Okulun mimari, kültürel ve tarihi özellikleri ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılığı arasındaki anlamlı ilişkiyi saptamak için Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Yapılan analizler göre öğretmenlerin okullarının mimari ve tarihi özelliklerinin etkileyiciliğine ilişkin algılamaları yüksek düzeyde ve okula bağlılıkları da yüksek düzeydedir. Öğretmenlerin okulun mimari ve tarihi özelliklerinin etkileyiciliğine ilişkin algılarıyla örgütsel bağlılıkları arasında orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişki belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the impressiveness of the architectural and historical features of schools and the organizational commitment of teachers. In addition, it was investigated whether there is a significant difference between the variables in the personal information form and the perceptions of the teachers working in high schools regarding the impressiveness of the architectural and historical features of the school and their institutional commitment. The population of the research consists of 450 teachers working in high schools within the boundaries of Beyoğlu and Fatih districts affiliated to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education in the 2017-2018 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 228 teachers who were selected by criterion sampling and working in 13 historical schools in the European side of Istanbul. The data were collected with Likert type scales. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS 20 package program. In comparison of quantitative data, t-test was used to compare the difference between the two groups, one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) for comparing parameters between groups in more than two groups, and Post-Hoc Scheffe test to determine the source of the difference. Pearson Correlation Coefficient was calculated to determine the meaningful relationship between the impressiveness of the architectural, cultural and historical features of the school and the organizational commitment of teachers. According to the analysis, teachers' perceptions of the impressive architectural and historical features of their schools and their commitment to the school are at a high level. A moderately significant relationship was determined between the teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of the architectural and historical features of the school and their organizational commitment.
