Öğretmenlerin Kişisel Hesap Verebilirliği Ölçeği Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenler için kişisel hesap verebilirlik ölçeğinin geliştirilmesidir. Araştırma tarama modeli şeklindedir. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi için 571 katılımcı, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi için ise 250 katılımcı ile çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili; Bahçelievler, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa, Fatih, Küçükçekmece ve Zeytinburnu ilçelerindeki devlet okullarında ve özel okullarda görevli olan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre ölçeğin KMO değeri 0,936, Bartlett testi değeri 6781.330 (p<0.05)’dir. Geliştirilen ölçeğin toplam açıklanan varyans değeri (%55) ideal kabul edilmekte ve ölçek; içsel, dışsal, kişisel fayda ve kontrol olmak üzere dört boyuttan ve 25 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa kat sayısı .92‘dir. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında, elde edilen faktör yapısını doğrulamak amacıyla doğrulayıcı faktör analizi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda elde edilen uyum istatistiklerinin ölçeğin daha önce belirlenen faktör yapısıyla kabul edilebilir uyum içinde olduğu (χ2/sd 1.361) tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda geliştirilen ölçeğin öğretmenlerin kişisel hesap verebilirliğini ölçen tutarlı faktör yapısına sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.

The purpose of this study was to develop the Teachers’ Personal Accountability Scale. While a sample, consisting of 571 participants, was used for the exploratory factor analysis, the one used for the confirmatory factor analysis consisted of 250 participants. The population of the study consisted of teachers who worked in the public and private schools located in the Bahçelievler, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa, Fatih, Küçükçekmece, and Zeytinburnu districts of the İstanbul province. The convenience sampling method, a type of non-random sampling, was used in the study. The results of factor analysis revealed a KMO value of 0,936, and a Bartlett test value of 6781.330 (p<0.05). The overall variance value (55%) of the developed scale, which consisted of four dimensions (internal, external, personal benefit, and control dimensions) and 25 items, was considered ideal. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of the scale was .92. Confirmative factor analysis was performed in the second part of the study to confirm the factor structure obtained. The analysis showed that the concordance statistics were in normal concordance with the previous factor structure of the scale (χ2/sd 1.361). The analysis showed that the scale was sufficiently valid and reliable to be used to measure the personal accountability of teachers.
