Pandemi ve medikal turizme genel bir bakış

Abstract

Ülkeler geçmiş zamanlarda birçok salgın hastalıkla karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Günümüzde de tüm dünya koronavirüs pandemisiyle savaşmaktadır. Koronavirüs pandemisi sebebiyle birçok sektör olumsuz yönde etkilenmiştir. İnsanların ülke değiştirmesini gerektiren medikal turizm de koronavirüs pandemisinden etkilenebilecek sektörlerdendir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye ve Dünya’da, medikal turizm kapsamında pandemilere yönelik hem ulusal hem de küresel boyutta sorumluluklar nasıl olması ve bu bağlamda nasıl politikalar izlenmesi gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur. Pandeminin bu süreçte nasıl bir gelişme gösterdiği hakkında bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Genel durum göz önünde bulundurularak güncel pandemi üzerinden bilgiler verilip analizlerde bulunulmuş aynı zamanda Türkiye’nin medikal turizmini içeren SWOT analizi yapılmıştır. Türkiye’nin medikal turizm için güçlü ve zayıf yönleri, fırsat ve tehditleri bulunmuş ve bunlara yönelik strateji ve hedeflerin neler olabileceği üzerine öneriler sunulmuştur.

Countries have faced many epidemic diseases in the past. Today, the whole world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Many industries have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Medical tourism, which requires people to change countries, is one of the sectors that can be affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This study in Turkey and in the world, both nationally and within the scope of medical tourism is how responsibility for the pandemic at a global level and how policies in this regard was emphasized that should be followed. Information has been obtained about how the pandemic has developed in this process. General information on the current pandemic situation has been made in consideration of whether the analysis was conducted SWOT analysis also includes the medical tourism in Turkey. Turkey's strengths and weaknesses for medical tourism, opportunities and threats are found and Suggestions were presented to them for over strategy and goals of what might happen.
