Aile sağlığı merkezine başvuran 40-55 yaş arası kadınlarda görülen menopoz semptomlarının depresyon üzerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma 40-55 yaş arası kadınlarda görülen menopoz semptomlarının depresyon üzerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı-kesitsel nitelikte yapıldı. Araştırma örneklemini İstanbul ilindeki bir aile sağlığı merkezinde çalışmayı kabul eden 245 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Veriler ''Kişisel Bilgi Formu'', ''Menopoz Semptomları Değerlendirme Ölçeği'' ve ''Perimenopozal Depresyon Ölçeği'' kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde; '' Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, Bonferroni ve Spearman korelasyonu'' kullanıldı. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların yaş ortalaması 47,373,77, menopoza girme yaş ortalaması ise 45,563,95 olduğu bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların menopoz semptomları değerlendirme ölçeği ortalama puanı 16.657.16, perimenopozal depresyon değerlendirme ölçeği ortalama puanı ise 13.647.53 gelmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların perimenopozal depresyon ölçeği ile somatik şikayetler alt boyutu arasında (r0.564, p0.05), psikolojik şikayetler alt boyutu arasında (r0.618, p0.05), ürogenital şikayetler alt boyutu arasında (r0.537, p0.05), ve menopoz semptomlarını değerlendirme ölçeği arasında (r0.720, p0.05) anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmamıza katılan 40-55 yaş arası kadınlarda görülen menopoz semptomları ile perimenopozal depresyon arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this descriptive-cross-sectional study was to investigate how menopausal symptoms affected women in their 40s to 55s who were depressed. The research sample consist of 245 women who agreed to work in a family health center in İstanbul. Data were obtained using the ''Personal Information Form'', ''Menopause Symptoms Assessment Scale'' and 'Perimenopausal Depression Scale'. ''Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis test, Bonferroni and Spearman correlation'' were used. It was found that the average age of the women participating in the study was 47,373,77, and the average age of entering menopause was 45,563,95. The average score of the women participaiting in the study on the menopause symptoms assesment scale was 16.657.16, and the average score on the perimenopausal depression assessment scale was 13.647.53. Among the women participating in the study, there was a difference between the perimenopausal depression scale and somatic complaints sub dimension (r=0.564, p0.05), between the psychological complaints subdimension (r=0.618, p0.05), and between the urogenital complaints sub dimension (r=0.537, p0.05). A significant and positive relationship was found between and the menopause symptoms evaluation scale (r=0.720, p0.05). Result: Astatistically significant and positive relationship was found between menopausal symptoms and perimenopausal depression in women aged 40-55 who participated in our research.
