Öğrenciliğe dönük tutum ölçeği (ÖDTÖ) geliştirme çalışması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ergenlik dönemi öğrencileri için “Öğrenciliğe Dönük Tutum Ölçeği” geliştirmektir. Ölçek, İstanbul Küçükçekmece ilçesi sınırları içinde bulunan sekiz farklı lisede okuyan 843 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya alınan öğrencilerin % 54.2’si ( n=457) kadın, % 45.8’i ( n=386) erkektir. Öğrencilerin başarı ortalaması 72.50, yaş ortalaması da 17.30 olarak ölçülmüştür. Ölçeğin geçerlilik çalışması için açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri yapılmış, ölçeğin dört faktörden oluştuğu ve modelin uyum indekslerinin oldukça iyi olduğu gözlenmiştir. Ölçek maddelerinin ayırt edicilik düzeylerini ortaya koymak amacıyla %27’lik üst ve alt grupların sorulardan aldıkları puanların ortalamaları arasındaki farkın anlamlılığı için t testi uygulanmış ve aradaki farkların anlamlı bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin alt boyutları arasındaki ilişki düzeylerinin de anlamlı olduğu gözlenmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışması için ölçeğin tamamı ve alt boyutlarının iç tutarlılık katsayıları hesaplanmış ve elde edilen güvenirlik değerlerinin de yüksek olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak orta ve lise düzeyi öğrencilerinin öğrenciliğe dönük tutumlarını ölçmek amacıyla geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirilmiştir.

The aim of this research is to develop the “Attitude Scale Regarding Studentship” for adolescent students. The scale was applied to 843 students attending eight different high schools in the district of Küçükçekmece, Istanbul. 54.2% (n = 457) of the students included in the study were female and 45.8% (n = 386) were male. The average success of the students was 72.50 and the average age was 17.30. For the validity study of the scale, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyzes were performed, and the scale consisted of four factors and the fit indices of the model were observed to be quite good. In order to determine the level of discrimination of the items of the scale, t-test was applied for the significance of the difference between the mean scores of the 27% upper and lower groups from the questions and the differences were significant. The relationship levels between the sub-dimensions of the scale were also significant. For the reliability study of the scale, the internal consistency coefficients of the whole scale and its sub-dimensions were calculated and the obtained reliability values ​​were found to be high. As a result, a valid and reliable measurement tool was developed to measure the attitudes of middle and high school students regarding studentship.
