Üniversite öğrencilerinde kişilik özellikleri ile presenteeism davranışları arasındaki ilişkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin Presenteeism davranışları ile Beş Faktör Kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2017-2018 yıllarında üniversitelerde okumakta olan 453 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Beş Faktör Kişilik Özellikleri Ölçeği ve Öğrenciler İçin Presenteeism Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar kişilik tiplerinden nevrotikliğin %3 oranında, gelişime açıklığın %4 oranında, uyumluluğun %1 oranında ve sorumluluğun %2 oranında presenteeism davranışını yordadığını göstermektedir. Yine nevrotiklik; presenteeism ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında iş tamamlama ile negatif, eğlenceden kaçma ve toplam presenteeism ile pozitif korelasyon göstermektedir. Dışadönüklük; presenteeism ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında eğlenceden kaçma ile negatif, iş tamamlama ve toplam preseteeism ile pozitif korelasyon göstermektedir. Gelişime Açıklık; presenteeism ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında eğlenceden kaçma ile negatif, iş tamamlama ve toplam preseteeism ile pozitif korelasyon göstermektedir. Uyumluluk; presenteeism ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında eğlenceden kaçma ile negatif, iş tamamlama ve toplam preseteeism ile pozitif korelasyon göstermektedir. Sorumluluk; presenteeism ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında eğlenceden kaçma ile negatif, iş tamamlama ve toplam preseteeism ile pozitif korelasyon göstermektedir.

The aim of the research is to examine the University students' Presenteeism behaviors and the Five Factor Personality traits. The sample consists of 453 students. The research is in relational screening model. Five Factor Personality Traits Scale and Presenteism Scale for Students were used as data collection tools. The results show that neuroticism 3%, openness to development 4%, agreeableness 1% and responsibility 2% predict presenteeism behavior among personality types. The sub-dimensions of the presenteeism scale of neuroticism have a negative relationship with completion of work, and a positive relationship with avoidance of entertainment and total presenteeism. Extraversion has a negative relationship with fun avoidance and positively with finishing work and total presenteeism. Openness to Growth has a negative relationship with entertainment avoidance and a positive relationship with job completion and total presenteeism. Agreeableness has a negative relationship with amusement avoidance and a positive relationship with finishing work and total presenteeism. Responsibility has a negative relationship with avoidance of fun, and a positive relationship with job completion and total preoccupation.
