Trade in the Shadow of War on Gaza 2023-2024

Abstract

This research mission determines the actual trade in the Gaza Strip before and after the Al Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, the authority of the spotlight on possession, restrictions and the desire to import and export, in addition to the major challenges facing Palestinian trade. The main objective of this is to analyze the efforts of Israeli efforts and policies and the Flood War on trade in Gaza, with a focus on the growing trade deficit and Palestinian economic dependence on the Palestinian economy, as Palestine increased more than 80% of its products to Israel. It is based on an analytical approach based on reviewing available economic data and hot reports, in addition to analyzing the strategy related to commercial success in achieving Palestinian economic success. It also relies on the dealings of economic experts with businesses in Gaza, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing them. The results indicate a significant deterioration in the Palestinian economy as a result of the new excuse and the development of the movement, as the Palestinian trade deficit reached 359.10 million dollars after the Al-Aqsa flood. The search for what is beyond Jerusalem in Gaza is close, which has narrowed the range of basic products and obstructed the movement of import and export through the border crossings controlled by Israel, and multiple Israeli electronics. In addition, the emergence of many goods injuries, monopoly and war trades who exploited personal emergencies. In the shadow of the war of death in the Gaza Strip,Palestinian economy to the Israeli, which results in Palestine’s dependence on the Israelis and prevents innovative development. The research continues to emphasize the need to rebuild the economic and technological infrastructure in Gaza, with a focus on supporting great small businesses to achieve development, and we emphasize the importance of promoting free trade and transit trade with neighboring countries and activating and increasing agreements with countries.
