Ortaöğretim Öğretmenlerinde Örgütsel Sessizlik ve Okul İklimi Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin örgütsel sessizlik ve okul iklimi algıları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. İlişkisel tarama deseni kullanılan araştırmanın çalışma grubu İstanbul ili Pendik, Tuzla ve Kartal ilçelerinde ortaöğretim kurumlarında görevli 414 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sorularına cevap bulabilmek amacıyla parametrik testlerden t testi, ANOVA, regresyon ve korelasyon analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; ortaöğretimde görevli öğretmenlerinin örgütsel sessizlik ortalamalarının orta düzeyde okul iklimi düzeyi ortalamalarının düşük düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Demografik değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, mesleki tecrübe, medeni durum, görev yaptığınız okul türü, branş, okul müdürü ile çalışma süresi, okuldaki öğretmen sayısı, okuldaki öğrenci sayısı) açısından anlamlı farklılık gösteren değişkenler olduğu belirlenirken örgütsel sessizlik ile okul iklimi arasında anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir.

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between organizational silence and school climate perceptions of teachers working in secondary education institutions. The study group of the research, in which the relational survey design was used, consists of 414 teachers working in secondary education institutions in Pendik, Tuzla and Kartal districts of Istanbul.In order to find answers to the research questions, parametric tests such as t-test, ANOVA, regression and correlation analyzes were used. In As a result of the research; It has been determined that the average level of organizational silence of secondary school teachers is at a medium level and the average level of school climate is low. While it was determined that there were variables that showed significant differences in terms of demographic variables (gender, age, professional experience, marital status, the type of school you worked in, branch, working time with the school principal, number of teachers in the school, number of students in the school), a significant relationship was found between organizational silence and school climate.
