Tasavvufi gelenekteki rüya yorumu ile Sigmund Freud'un rüya yorumunun karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Tasavvufi gelenek içerisinde yer alan rüya ile birlikte Sigmund Freud'un rüya yorumu çalışmada önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Freud öncelikle, kendi rüya tecrübesinden yola çıkarak, rüyaları, bastırılmış arzuların ortaya çıktığı alan olarak görmektedir. Tasavvuf geleneği ise bireyi, nefis mertebeleri kapsamında değerlendirerek, bireyin gördüğü rüyaların içeriğini, bulunduğu nefis mertebesinin yansıması olarak değerlendirmektedir. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın amacı, tasavvufi gelenekte mevcut olan nefs-i emmâre kavramından hareketle Freud'un psikanaliz sisteminde yer alan "id" kavramı ile ilişkilendirilmektedir. Çalışmanın evreni ise, Freud'un cinsellikle ilişkilendirdiği rüyaları bir tatmin aracı olarak görmesiyle, nefs-i emmare sahibi insanın rüyasına karşılık gelen "id" kavramı ile ele alınmaktadır. Bu çerçevede, nefsin birinci mertebesine tekabül eden kişinin durumu ile Freud'un rüya yorumunun derinlemesine incelenmesi araştırmanın konusu olmuş; bu iki ekolün benzerlik noktasına değinilerek yorumlamalar yapılmaktadır. Çalışmada, tasavvuftaki rüya yorumlarının psikoterapide daha çok kullanılabilir olduğu; Freud'un rüya yorumunun ise tasavvufa göre yedili nefis mertebesinde birinci seviye olan nefs-i emmârede kaldığı sonucu çıkmaktadır. Nihayetinde, "hermeneutik" bir çalışma olan bu araştırmada nefis mertebelerinden hareketle yapılan rüya yorumu ile Freud'un rüyayı ele alışı ilişkilendirilmektedir. Böylelikle, yapılan karşılaştırmanın yorumu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmaktadır.

Together with the dream in the Islamic mystical tradition, Sigmund Freud's dream interpretation has an important place in this study. Starting from his own dream experience, Freud takes dreams as the area where repressed desires are revealed. The aim of this study is to reveal that Freud's definition of dreams evokes the content of dreams attributed to the animalistic humans (nefs-i emmâre) in the Islamic mystical tradition. In addition, the fact that it has never been compared to the Islamic mystical interpretation will make our study unique and valuable. The focus of the research consists of the concept "id", which corresponds to the dreams had by animalistic human (nefs-i emmâre) that is one of the certain levels of self (nafs) in the Islamic mysticism; and Freud's view of dreams as the means of satisfaction, which he associated with sexuality. In this context, the dream of the human corresponding to the first level of the self (nafs) and Freud's dream interpretation are examined in depth and become the subject of the research. Interpretations are made by referring to the similarities in these two schools. In the study, it is concluded that dream interpretations in the Islamic mysticism are actually more useful in psychotherapy, and Freud's dream interpretation remains in the level of animalistic human (nefs-i emmâre), which is the first level out of the seven-level of self (nafs) acknowledged in the Islamic mysticism. As the thesis is eventually a theoretical study, it is prepared with the "hermeneutics" method. In the research, dream interpretation based on the levels of the self (nafs) and Freud's treatment of dreams are associated. Finally, the obtained information are submitted in a systematic way and the results of the comparison are tried to be revealed.
