Meslek liselerinde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve çözüm önerilerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Sanayi sektöründe makineleşmenin artması ile birçok işlem yapay zekâ tarafından dijital ortamlarda yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu ilerleme insan faktörünün üretim sektöründe hızla gücünü kaybetmesine neden olmaktadır. Makineleşmenin hızla yayılmasına rağmen sistemin merkezinde yine insan yer almaktadır. Nitelikli iş gücüne olan talep her geçen gün artmaktadır. Alanında uzman bilgi, beceri ve kabiliyeti yüksek, mesleğin öngördüğü teknik donanıma sahip, kalifiye eleman ihtiyacı meslek eğitimini öne çıkartmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, meslek liselerinde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve çözüm önerilerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma nitel araştırmaya dayalı tematik durum desenine uygun olarak tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma grubu, amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden ölçüt örneklemesi yapılarak 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Anadolu yakasında bulunan meslek liselerinde görevli 30 meslek dersi öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri, ilgili literatür incelemesi sonucu uzman görüşleri alınarak oluşturulmuş yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme soruları ile toplanmıştır. Yüz yüze ve çevrimiçi olarak yapılan görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanan veriler, içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre katılımcıların meslek liselerini, bireylere beceri kazandırma yoluyla sektörün ara eleman ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere uygulamalı ve üretim yaparak eğitim veren kurumlar olarak tanımladıkları görülmektedir. Katılımcılar, bu okullara öğrenci alınırken alanın gerektirdiği ön becerilere sahip ve Orta Öğretim Başarı Puanı ve Liselere Giriş Sınavı sonuçlarına göre yerleştirme yapılmasının bu okulların itibarını ve akademik başarısını arttıracağını belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca katılımcılar, meslek liselerinin amacına uygun eğitim verebilmesi için ders çeşitliliğinde sadeleşmeye gidilerek iş başı eğitimlerinin süresinin uzatılması ve öğrencilerin üst zihinsel becerileri kazanmaları için proje ve Ar-Ge çalışmalarına yeterli zaman ayrılması gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Katılımcılara göre meslek liselerinde teknolojik ve ekonomik gelişimler ışığında sektör ihtiyaçları gözetilerek öğretim programlarının güncellenmesi yoluyla ülke ekonomisine ve istihdama katkı sunulması beklenmektedir.

With the increase in mechanization in the industrial sector, many processes are artificial intelligence started to be made in digital environments by this progress is human cause the factor to lose its power rapidly in the production sector is happening. Despite the rapid spread of mechanization, the center of the system human is included. The demand for skilled labor is increasing day by day increasing. The need for qualified personnel who are experts in their fields, with high knowledge, skills and abilities, with the technical equipment required by the profession, reveals the importance of vocational education. The purpose of this research is to examine the opinions of teachers about the problems encountered in vocational high schools and their solution proposals. This research was designed in accordance with the thematic case pattern based on qualitative research. The study group consists of 30 vocational course teachers working in vocational high schools located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul in the 2020-2021 academic year by making criterion sampling from purposeful sampling methods. The research data were collected with semi-structured interview questions, which were formed by taking expert opinions as a result of the relevant literature review. The data collected through face-to-face and online interviews were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the findings obtained in the research, it is seen that the participants define vocational high schools as institutions that provide training by practical and production in order to meet the intermediate staff needs of the sector by providing individuals with skills. The participants stated that when admitting students to these schools, they have the pre-skills required by the field and that placing them according to OÖBP+LGS results will increase the reputation and academic success of these schools. In addition, the participants stated that in order for vocational high schools to provide education in accordance with their purpose, it is necessary to simplify the variety of courses, extend the duration of on-the-job training and allow sufficient time to be allocated to projects and R&D studies for students to gain higher mental skills. According to the participants, updating the curriculum in vocational high schools in the light of technological and economic developments, taking into account the sector's needs, will contribute to the country's economy and employment.
