İlkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin kolektif yeterlik algılarının bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin kolektif yeterlik algılarının bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Kolektif yeterlik değişkenine ilişkin öğretmen algılarının; cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim durumu, kıdem, kurumda çalışma süresi ve branş değişkenlerine göre farklılık olup olmadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2012- 2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul İli Avrupa yakasındaki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı resmi ilkokul ve ortaokullar ve bu okullarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise tabakalı örnekleme yolu ile belirlenen 1760 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, ve “Kolektif Öğretmen Yeterliği Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.0 programında çözümlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde değişkenlere bağlı olarak aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, bağımsız örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin kolektif yeterlik algıları oldukça katılıyorum düzeyinde bulunmuştur. İlkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin kolektif yeterlik algıları cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim durumu, kıdem, kurumdaki çalışma süresi ve branş değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel anlamda manidar fark göstermiştir.

The purpose of this study is to determine primary and secondary school teachers’ collective efficacy perceptions and to identify whether the perceptions of primary and secondary school teachers’ regarding collective efficacy perceptions change according to variables such as gender, age, seniority, field, educational level and working time in this school. The universe of the study was formed of primary-secondary schools and school teachers working in Istanbul European Side during the 2012-2013 educational year and the sample of the study consisted of 1760 teachers. The sample was chosen through stratified sampling. “Personal Information Form” and “Collective Efficacy Scale” were used as data collection tools in the study. SPSS 20.00 programs were used in analysis of the data. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one way variance analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis were used for analyzing dataThe results of the research identified that teachers in the study selected “Somewhat Agree” towards collective efficacy. The perceptions of teachers regarding the collective efficacy showed statistical significant differences according to gender, age, seniority, field, educational level and working time in this school.
