Özet
The Palestine issue is one of the fundamental subjects of contemporary. Middle East politics, and it has been part of both academic and political debatesfor decades. The surprise attack carried out by Palestinian forces against Israel onOctober 7, 2023, and the unprecedently harsh response of the Israeli military thatis tantamount to genocide, gave rise to further discussions concerning the natureof the conflict, its origins, and its possible outcomes in the future. This chapter isa contribution to these debates.
