Hacı Ahmed b. Seydî el-Bigavî'nin Avârifü'l-maârif tercümesi 1. cilt (1a-205b): İnceleme ve değerlendirme

Abstract

Bir tasavvuf klasiği olan Sühreverdî'nin (ö. 632/1234) Avârifü'l-maârif isimli eseri, Türkçe'ye ilk kez 1458 yılında Zeyniyye meşâyihinden Hacı Ahmed b. Seydî el-Bigavî (ö. 863/1458'den sonra) tarafından tercüme edilmiştir. Bigavî, Avârif'in aslında bulunmayan Farsça şiirler ve Arapça ilâveler ile kendine özgü, tefsîrî bir tercüme ortaya koymuştur. Çalışmamızda Terceme-i Avârifü'l-maârif'in 21. babına kadar olan bölümü latinize edilmiştir. Metinde Farsça ve Arapça olarak bulunan kısımların tercümeleri dipnota eklenmiştir. Bursa Yazma ve Eski Basma Eserler Kütüphanesi'nin Genel kısmındaki 2977 tasnif, 4443A kayıt numaralı nüsha esas alınmıştır. Tercüme metin, eserin aslı ile karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Avârif'in ihtivâ ettiği konular diğer tasavvuf klasikleriyle karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı, Avârifü'l-maârif müellifinin ve müterciminin tasavvufun mâhiyetiyle ilgili düşüncelerini anlamak, Terceme-i Avârifü'l-maârif'i günümüz okuyucusuna ulaştırmak ve eserin dîne, dile ve kültüre katkısını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışmamızın önemi, eserin Türkçe'ye yapılan ilk Avârif tercümesi olması ve kendine özgü ilâvelerle zenginleştirilmiş bulunması sebebi ile eserin okuyucuya ulaştırılması ve dile yeniden kazandırılmasıdır. Çalışmamız sonucunda, Bigavî'nin Avârif'i kendine rehber edinerek tasavvufî incelikleri îzâh eden âdetâ yeni bir eser te'lîf ettiği tespit edilmiştir.

The work titled "Avârifü'l-maârif," a classic of Sufism by Sühreverdî (d. 632/1234), was translated into Turkish for the first time in the year 1458 by Hacı Ahmed b. Seydî el-Bigavî (d. after 863/1458), a scholar of the Zeyniyye Sufi order. Bigavî presented a unique, interpretative translation of "Avârif," incorporating Persian poems and Arabic additions not found in the original. In this study, the section up to chapter 21 of the "Terceme-i Avârifü'l-maârif" has been transliterated into Latin script. The translations of the Persian and Arabic sections have been added as footnotes. The manuscript numbered 4443A with classification number 2977 in the General section of the Bursa Manuscripts and Rare Books Library was used as the basis for this work. The translation has been examined in comparison with the original text. The subjects contained within "Avârif" have been evaluated in comparison with other classics of Sufism. The aim of the study is to understand the thoughts of the author and translator of "Avârifü'l-maârif" regarding the essence of Sufism; to make "Terceme-i Avârifü'l- maârif" accessible to today's readers; and to reveal the contribution of "Terceme-i Avârifü'l-maârif" to religion, language, and culture. The significance of the study lies in the fact that Hacı Ahmed b. Seydî el-Bigavî's "Terceme-i Avârifü'l-maârif" is the first Turkish translation of "Avârif," enriched with unique additions, thus reintroducing the work to readers and the language. The study concludes that Bigavî has authored a new work that adopts "Avârif" as a guide to explain the subtleties of Sufism.
