Üsküdar Müftülüğünde İhtidâ Edenlerin Dini Motivasyonlarının Analizi

Abstract

Üsküdar Müftülüğünde ihtidâ merasimleri yapılarak ihtidâ belgeleri almış olan mühtedîlerin dinî motivasyonlarının, onları motive eden etken ve motiflerin analizinin yapıldığı bu çalışmada önce teorik çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Akabinde görüşmeyi kabul eden mühtedîlerle nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak ilgili alan çalışması yapılmıştır. Burada mühtedîlerin ihtidâ öncesinde dindarlık durumları, İslâmiyet algıları, entelektüel arayışları, ihtidâ etme süre ve süreçleri, ihtidâ merasiminin etkileri, ihtidâ sonrası ailelerinden ve çevreden aldıkları olumlu veya olumsuz tepkiler, dinî görevleri yerine getirmede yaşadıkları zorluklar, bunları aşmada destek aldıkları kişi ve kurumlar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. İncelenen arşiv dokümanlarının ve görüşmelerden elde edilen verilerin içerik analizleri yapılmış, mühtedîlerin dinî motivasyonları bir bütün hâlinde yorumlanarak nitel araştırmaya ilişkin sonuç, müzâkere ve önerilere ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, in which the religious motivations of the converts who received their certificates of conversion after conversion ceremonies were held at the Üsküdar Mufti's Office and the factors and motifs that motivated them were analyzed, first the theoretical framework was created. Subsequently, relevant field work was conducted using qualitative research methods with the converts who agreed to be interviewed. Here, the religiosity of the converts before their conversion, their perception of Islam, their intellectual pursuits, the duration and processes of conversion, the effects of the ceremony of conversion, the positive or negative reactions they received from their families and the environment after conversion, the difficulties they experienced in fulfilling their religious duties, and the people and institutions from which they received support in overcoming these problems are determined. Content analysis of the archive documents examined and the data obtained from the interviews was made, the religious motivations of the converts were interpreted as a whole, and conclusions, discussions and suggestions regarding the qualitative research were reached.
