İstanbul'da yaşayan mühtedilerin din değiştirme sonrası yaşadığı problemler

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı İstanbul'da yaşayan mühtedilerin din değiştirme sonrası yaşadığı problemlerin ortaya konulmasıdır. Araştırma 2023 Ocak-Nisan tarihleri arasında İstanbul'da yürütülmüş olup araştırma kapsamında 5 erkek ve 12 kadın olmak üzere toplamda 17 mühtediyle mülakat yapılmıştır. İstanbul'da yaşayan mühtedilerin din değiştirme sonrası yaşadığı problemleri inceleyen bu çalışmada, İslam'ı öğrenebilecekleri doğru bilgi kaynağı arayışı, İslam öncesi inanç ve kültüründen kalma alışkanlıklar, dilden kaynaklı iletişim kuramama, kendilerine danışmanlık ve rehberlik edecek kimse bulamamak ve yeni sosyal çevre arayışları gibi konular yaşanılan zorluklar olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bu açıdan mühtedilerin ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması, kendilerine destek olunması ve uyum süreçlerini kolaylaştırabilmek adına kurumsal düzeyde etkili çözümler ve politikalar geliştirilmelidir. Aynı zamanda, mühtedilerin karşılaşabilecekleri psikolojik, sosyal ve pratik sorunlara yönelik destek hizmetleri sağlanması da önemlidir.

The study aims to reveal the problems experienced by the converts living in Istanbul after conversion. The research was carried out in Istanbul between January 2023 and April, and within the scope of the research, a total of 17 renegades, 5 men and 12 women, were interviewed. In this study, which examines the problems experienced by the converts living in Istanbul after conversion, issues such as the search for the right source of information from which they can learn about Islam, the habits of pre-Islamic beliefs and culture, the inability to communicate based on language, the inability to find anyone to advise and guide them, and the search for a new social environment. identified as difficulties. In this respect, effective solutions and policies should be developed at the institutional level to meet the needs of the converts, to support them and to facilitate their adaptation processes. It is also important to provide support services for the psychological, social and practical problems that the converts may face.
