Okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterlilikleri ile medya ve teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterlilikleri ile medya ve teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden korelasyonel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Tekirdağ İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı resmi okul ve kurumlarda görev yapan toplam 852 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, evreni temsilen basit tesadüfi örneklem alma yolu izlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Tekirdağ ilinde görev yapan 326 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Banoğlu (2012) tarafından geliştirilen "Eğitim Yöneticilerinin Teknoloji Liderliği Yeterlilikleri Ölçeği" ile Özgür (2016) tarafından geliştirilen "Medya ve Teknoloji Kullanımı ve Tutumları Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin ve alt boyutlarının normallik dağılımları incelerek, verilerin analizinde kullanılacak istatistiksel yöntemler belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, verilerin analizinde normal dağılım varsayımına dayanan istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t testi, tek faktörlü varyans analizi, post-hoc çoklu karşılaştırma teknikleri ve korelasyon analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterliliklerinin "yüksek" düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterliliklerine ilişkin algılarının cinsiyet, yaş, mesleki kıdem ve görev yapılan eğitim kademesi değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılaşma olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin medya ve teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumlarında tüm alt boyutlarda görev yapılan eğitim kademesi değişkenine göre bir farklılaşma olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterlilikleri ölçeğinin tüm boyutları ile okul yöneticilerinin medya, teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından; "Akıllı Telefon Kullanımı", "Genel Sosyal Ağ Kullanımı", "E-Posta Kullanımı", "Sosyal Ağ Arkadaşlığı", "Teknolojiye Yönelik Olumlu Tutum" ve "Görevler Arası Geçiş Tercihleri" boyutları ile arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde ve "Medya Paylaşımı" boyutu ile pozitif yönde düşük düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between technology leadership competencies of school administrators and media and technology use and attitudes. Correlational research model, which is one of the Quantitative Research models, was used in this research. The universe of the research consists of 852 school administrators working in official schools and institutions affiliated with the Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education. In the study, a simple random sampling method was followed to represent the universe. The sample of the study consists of 326 school administrators working in Tekirdağ. The "technology leadership competencies scale of Education managers' developed by Banoğlu (2012) and "media and Technology Use and attitudes scale " developed by Özgür (2016) were used in the collection of data. The statistical methods to be used in the analysis of the data were determined by examining the normality distributions of the scales and their sub-dimensions. In line with the obtained results, statistical methods based on the assumption of normal distribution were used in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of the data, t test, single factor variance analysis, post-hoc multiple comparison techniques and correlation analysis technique were used. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the technology leadership competencies of school administrators are at the "high" level. It was concluded that school administrators' perceptions of technology leadership competencies did not differ significantly according to gender, age, professional seniority, and the level of education served. It is concluded that there is no difference in the media and technology usage and attitudes of school administrators according to the education level variable in all sub-dimensions. All dimensions of the technology leadership competencies scale of school administrators and the sub dimensions of school administrators' media, technology use and attitudes scale; Moderately positive and "Media Sharing" with the dimensions of "Smartphone Usage", "General Social Network Usage", "E-Mail Usage", "Social Network Friendship", "Positive Attitude Toward Technology" and "Transition Between Tasks Preferences" It was concluded that there is a positive low level relationship with the dimension.
