Benliğin ayrımlaşması ve duygusal emek kavramının psikolojik iyi oluş ile ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma hizmet sektörü çalışanlarının yoğun iş tempolarında verilen görev ve sorumluluklarını yerine getirirken, önemli unsurlardan biri olan duygusal emek davranışları ile geçmişten bu yana edindikleri benlik ayrımlaşmalarınınbu bireylerin psikolojik iyi oluşları ile ilişkisinin incelendiği bir araştırmadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı sağlık ve eğitim sektöründe çalışan bireylerin benliğin ayrımlaşması ve duygusal emek düzeylerinin psikolojik iyi oluş ile ilişkisini incelemektir. Bu amaca yönelik sağlık ve eğitim sektöründe görev alan 428 çalışana online anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Veriler "Benliğin Ayrımlaşması Ölçeği", "Duygusal Emek Ölçeği", "Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği" ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan "Demografik Bilgi Formu" kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler, SPSS istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların demografik özelliklerine göre psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerinin farklılaştığı bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlara göre; örneklemin psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerinin medeni durumlarına, çalıştıkları sektöre, çocuk sayılarına, yaşlarına ve çalışma sürelerine göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Bu sonuca ek olarak psikolojik iyi oluş ile çalışılan kurum, aile ile yaşama ve eğitim durumu değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre psikolojik iyi oluş ile duygusal emek alt boyutu olan yüzeysel davranış puan ortalaması arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönlü ilişki bulunmuştur. Psikolojik iyi oluş ve duygusal emek alt boyutu olan derin davranış puan ortalaması arasında ise anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü ilişki saptanmıştır. Psikolojik iyi oluş ve benliğin ayrımlaşması alt boyutu olan; ben pozisyonu puan ortalaması ile arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü, duygusal kopma puan ortalaması ile arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönlü, başkalarına bağımlılık puan ortalaması arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönlü ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre bu çalışmada, duygusal emek alt boyutları ve benlik ayrımlaşması alt boyutlarına ait korelasyon katsayıları incelendiğinde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucu bulunmuştur.

This research, while fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of service sector employees in intense work tempo, with emotional labor behaviors, which is one of the important elements; It is a research that examines the relationship between the self-differentiation they have acquired since the past and the psychological well-being of these individuals. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between self-differentiation and emotional labor levels of individuals working in the health and education sector and psychological well-being. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was applied to 428 employees working in the health and education sector. The data were collected using the "Self Discrimination Scale", "Emotional Labor Scale", "Psychological Well-Being Scale" and the "Demographic Information Form" prepared by the researcher. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS statistical program. As a result of the research, it was found that the psychological well-being levels of the participants differed according to their demographic characteristics. According to these results; It was observed that the psychological well-being levels of the sample differed significantly according to their marital status, the sector they worked in, the number of children, their ages and working hours. In addition to this result, there was no significant relationship between psychological well-being and the variables of institution, family, living and educational status. According to the results of the research, a significant and negative relationship was found between psychological well-being and the average score of surface behavior, which is the sub-dimension of emotional labor. A significant and positive relationship was found between the psychological well-being and the emotional labor sub-dimension, the deep behavior mean score. The sub-dimension of psychological well-being and differentiation of self; It has been concluded that there is a significant and positive relationship between the ego position and mean score, a significant and negative relationship between the mean emotional disconnection score, and a significant and negative relationship between the mean score of dependency on others. According to the research findings, in this study, when the correlation of emotional labor sub-dimensions and self-differentiation sub-dimensions was examined, it was found that there was a significant relationship.
