Ortaokul yönetici ve öğretmenlerinin uzaktan eğitim sürecine yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul yönetici ve öğretmenlerinin uzaktan eğitime ait görüşlerini incelemektir. Çalışmaya İstanbul ili Bağcılar ilçesinde bulunan 10 farklı devlet okulunda görevli, 10 yönetici ve 15 öğretmen katılmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden ve keşfedici desen ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubuna, alan uzmanlarının görüşü alınarak hazırlanmış 13 sorudan oluşan "Yarı Yapılandırılmış" görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Görüşmeler uzaktan eğitim koşulları sebebiyle yöneticiler ile yüz yüze, öğretmenler ile yüz yüze ve telefonla yapılmıştır. Belirlenen temalar hazırbulunuşluk, özümseme, uygulama ve değerlendirme düzeylerinde betimlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; yönetici ve öğretmenlerin hazırbulunuşluk düzeyleri düşük bulunmuş, öğretmenlerin yöneticilere göre uzaktan eğitimi daha kapsamlı düşünerek ihtiyaç tespit çalışmalarına yöneldiği görülmüştür. Özümseme aşamasında; uzaktan eğitime geçiş için önceki TV yayınlarının çok etkisi olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin akıllı tahtada teknoloji odaklı ders işleme tercihlerinin uzaktan eğitimi benimseme üzerinde kolaylaştırıcı etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Uygulama aşamasında ise; en çok karşılaşılan problemler belirlenmiş, Canlı Ders Uygulamaları, EBA Platformu, EBA TV'nin etkililik açısından sıralaması yapılmıştır. Değerlendirme aşamasında; uygulayıcıların uzaktan eğitim uygulamalarına ait memnuniyet düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu belirlenerek, karşılaşılan problemlere karşılık yürütülen merkezi çözümler etkili ve başarılı bulunmuştur.

The aim of this study is to examine the views of secondary school administrators and teachers on distance education. 10 administrators and 15 teachers from 10 different public schools in Istanbul province Bağcılar district participated in the study. The study was conducted with qualitative research methods and exploratory design. A "Semi-Structured" interview form consisting of 13 questions prepared by taking the opinions of field experts was applied to the study group. Due to the distance education conditions, the interviews were made face to face with the administrators, face to face with the teachers and over the phone. The determined themes were described at the levels of readiness, assimilation, application and evaluation. According to the results obtained; The readiness levels of administrators and teachers were found to be low, and it was observed that teachers tended to need assessment studies by considering distance education more comprehensively than administrators. In the assimilation stage; It has been determined that the previous TV broadcasts did not have much effect for the transition to distance education. It has been concluded that the technology-oriented teaching preferences of the teachers on the smart board have a facilitating effect on the adoption of distance education. In the application phase; The most frequently encountered problems were determined, and Live Lesson Applications, EBA Platform, EBA TV were ranked in terms of effectiveness. In the evaluation phase; It was determined that the satisfaction levels of the practitioners regarding the distance education applications were high, and the central solutions carried out in response to the problems encountered were found to be effective and successful.
