Abstract

The family is an institution, the effect of which on the child starts during the prenatal period and is maintained throughout the child’s life. The important role of the knowledge, skills and attitudes learned as a result of the parent-child interaction in the first years of life on adulthood has started to be understood better. Modem society needs self-confident, constructive, creative individuals with the developed sense of responsibility, who monitor themselves, can express their emotions and thoughts freely, have developed social skills such as solidarity, sharing and cooperating, and can establish positive social relations with other people.
