Yönlendirici grup oyun terapisinin dikkat eksikliği ve sosyal duygusal beceri algısına etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, dikkat eksikliği belirtisi olan çocuklarda yönlendirici grup oyun terapisinin dikkat eksikliği ve sosyal duygusal beceri algısına etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu çalışma deney – kontrol gruplu, ön-test, son-test ölçümlerinin olduğu deneysel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma kapsamında ilkokul dördüncü sınıfa giden dikkat eksikliği belirtisi olan ve sosyal duygusal becerileri düşük olan öğrenciler arasından sekizer kişilik kontrol ve deney grupları oluşturulmuştur. Deney grubuna katılan öğrencilere yönlendirici grup oyun terapisi uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubuna herhangi bir uygulama yapılmamıştır. Araştırmanın verileri Conner's Öğretmen Derecelendirme Ölçeği (CÖDÖ-28) ve Sosyal Duygusal Beceri Algısı Ölçeği (SDBAÖ) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan kontrol ve deney gruplarındaki öğrencilerin ön test ve son test puanlarının ortalamalarını karşılaştırmak için "Mann Whitney U-testi", kontrol ve deney gruplarının ön test ve son test ortalamalarını karşılaştırmak için de "Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi" kullanılmıştır. Analizlere ilişkin istatistiksel hesaplamalar SPSS programı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada yapılan istatistiksel analizlerde 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda deney grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin Conner's Öğretmen Derecelendirme Ölçeği ile belirlenen dikkat eksikliği ve hiperaktivite belirtilerinde ve (SDBAÖ) ile belirlenen sosyal duygusal beceri algılarında olumlu yönde gelişme olduğu, kontrol grubunda bulunan öğrencilerde ise herhangi bir değişim olmadığı görülmüştür.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of guiding group play therapy on the attention deficiency and on perception of the social-emotional skills in children with attention deficit symptoms. This study is a complete experimental study with experimental-control group, pre-test, post-test measurements. Within the scope of the research, experimental and control groups of eight, each were formed among the fourth grade primary school students with symptoms of attention deficit and low social-emotional skills. Guiding group play therapy has been applied to the experimental groups. The data of the study have been collected by using the "Conner's Teacher Rating Scale" (CTRS-28) and "The Scale of Perceived Social-Emotional Skills" (SPSES). Mann Whitney U-test has been applied to compare the mean averages of the pretest and post-test scores of the experimental and control groups, and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test has been applied to compare the pre-test and post-test averages in the experimental and control groups. Statistical analyses have been performed using SPSS with a significance level of 0.05. As a result of the analyzes made, it was observed that the students in the experimental group had a positive development in the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms determined by the Conner's Teacher Rating Scale and the perception of social emotional skills determined by the (SPSES) while there was no change in the students in the control group.
