Kentsel dönüşümün açık ve kamusal alanlarda fiziksel ve sosyal mekana etkisi: Bağcılar meydan örneği

Abstract

Günümüzdeki kentlerde trafik ve ulaşım, altyapı, nüfus, plansız yapılaşma, yolların yetersizliği, temizlik, güvenlik, araç ve nüfus sayısının artması gibi konular zaman içinde kent sorunlarını oluşturmaktadır.Bu çalışmada kentsel alanlardaki açık mekanlar kapsamında" Bağcılar Meydanı" incelenmiş ve söz konusu meydanın sorunları güncel verilerle ortaya konulup, bu bağlamda çözüm önerileri sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Hazırlanan tezin amacı; kentsel dönüşümün, kent ölçeği bağlamında yaya odaklı bir açık mekan olan meydanların sosyal ve fiziksel etkilerinin araştırılması ve sonuçlarının irdelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada örnek olarak Bağcılar Meydanı seçilmiştir. Bağcılar ilçesinde yapılan kentsel dönüşüm faaliyetlerinin sonucu olarak düzenlenen meydanda, yaşanan sosyal ve fiziksel değişimlerin sonuçlarının olumlu olumsuz yönleri ortaya konulmuştur. Tezin ilk bölümünde literatürdeki kentsel dönüşüm tanımı, önemi , uygulama biçimleri ve hangisinin çalışma alanında kullanıldığı belirtilmiş olup ikinci bölümde kentsel mekan ve meydanlar, kavramsal olarak çeşitleri, tarihsel süreci,ekonomisi, kimliği ile ilgili konular hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde kentsel dönüşümün Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de meydanlardaki fiziksel ve sosyal etkileri, Bağcılar Meydanı örneğiyle açıklanmaktadır. Dördüncü bölümde Bağcılar Meydanına dair analiz çalışmaları ile elde edilen bulgular, tablo ve grafiklerle anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde genel değerlendirmenin yanı sıra, tasarım ve planlama aşamasında dikkat edilmesi gereken kriterler belirlenerek çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.

Nowadays , traffic and transportation in cities, infrastructure, population, unplanned construction, lack of roads, cleaning, security, increasing the number of vehicles and population, etc. issues constitute urban problems over time. In this study,Bağcılar square "is examined within the scope of open spaces in urban areas and the problems of the square are presented with current data and solutions are proposed in this context. The aim of the thesis; The aim of this course is to investigate the social and physical effects of urban transformation on the squares which have a pedestrian-oriented open space arrangement in the context of urban scale and to examine the results. In this study, Bagcilar Square was chosen as an example. The social and physical changes in the square organized as a result of the urban transformation activities in Bağcılar district have shown the positive and negative aspects of the results of these changes. In the first part of the thesis, the definition, importance and application forms of urban transformation are explained in the literature and which of these forms are used. In the second part, explanations about urban spaces and squares, conceptual and types, historical process and economy and identity are given. In the third part, in the world's urban transformation in physical and social effects occurred in Turkey, Bağcılar is explained by the example of square. In the fourth part, the analysis studies and the findings of Bagcilar Square are evaluated and the results are presented. Bağcılar square analysis is explained by supporting tables and graphics. In the fifth part, besides the general evaluation, the criteria to be taken into consideration during the design and planning phase are determined.
