Bireylerin algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumları ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı bireylerin algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumlarının psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesi ve aralarında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. İlişkisel tarama modelinde olan bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 18-45 yaş aralığında bulunan 402 yetişkin birey oluşturmaktadır. Bireylerin algılanan helikopter tutumlarının düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Yılmaz tarafından 2018 yılında geliştirilen Türkçeye uyarlanan Algılanan Helikopter Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği (AHETÖ), bireylerin psikolojik iyi oluşlarının düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Telef tarafından 2013 yılında Türkçeye uyarlanan Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği (PİOÖ) ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formunda yer alan değişkenler, psikolojik iyi oluş ölçeği ve algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumu ölçeği ile toplanan veriler istatistik paket programıyla analiz edilerek yorumlanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda bireylerin algıladıkları helikopter anne/baba tutumlarının temel güven konusunda helikopterlik alt boyutu ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri arasında ters yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bireylerin algılanan helikopter anne/baba tutumlarının duygusal kişisel yaşam konusunda, etik-ahlaki konularda ve akademik/okul yaşamı konularında helikopterlik alt boyutu ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerinde düşük düzeyde ters yönde anlamlı ilişkiye rastlanmıştır. Ayrıca bireylerin algılanan helikopter baba tutumu akademik/okul yaşamı konularında helikopterlik alt boyutu ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri arasında ters yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Bireylerin algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumları ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri arasında ters yönde düşük düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bireylerin algıladıkları helikopter ebeveyn tutumu etik ve ahlaki konularda helikopterlik alt boyutunun etkilediği ve bunu sırayla duygusal-kişisel yaşam alanında helikopterlik alt boyutunun, temel güven ve yaşam becerileri konusunda helikopterlik alt boyutunun ve algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumu toplamının izlediği görülmüştür. Etik ve ahlaki konularda helikopterlik ile akademik/okul yaşamı konularında helikopterlik alt boyutlarının modele anlamlı bir katkı yapmadığı bulunmuştur.

As a result of the analyzes, a moderately significant inverse relationship was found between the helicopter parental attitudes perceived by the individuals, the helicopter sub-dimension of basic trust, and their psychological well-being levels. It was found that individuals' perceived helicopter mother/father attitudes had a low-level, inversely significant relationship with the helicopter sub-dimension in emotional personal life, ethical-moral issues, and academic/school life issues and psychological well-being levels. In addition, a moderately significant inverse relationship was found between the helicopter sub-dimension and the psychological well-being levels of individuals' perceived helicopter father attitude academic/school life. An inverse and low-level significant correlation was found between individuals' perceived helicopter parenting attitudes and their psychological well-being levels. It was seen that the helicopter parental attitude perceived by the individuals was affected by the helicopter parenting sub-dimension on ethical and moral issues, followed by the helicopter sub-dimension in the emotional-personal life area, the helicopter sub-dimension in the basic trust and life skills, and the total perceived helicopter parenting attitude. It was found that the sub-dimensions of helicopter in ethical and moral issues and helicopter in academic/school life did not make a significant contribution to the model.
