Çocuk evleri hizmet modelinde psikososyal destek sağlayan meslek elemanlarının deneyimleri: Sivil toplum kuruluşu örneği

Abstract

Yapılan araştırma ile; bir STK bünyesinde çalışan ve Devlet koruması altındaki çocuklara psikososyal destek sağlama deneyimi olmuş meslek elemanlarının, çocuk evleri hizmet modeline ve sunulan hizmetlere ilişkin düşünce ve değerlendirmelerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma modeli kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Süreç içerisinde literatür taraması yöntemi ile daha önceden yazılmış tezler, yapılan çalışmalar, süreli yayınlar, kanun ve yönetmelikler, arşiv kaynakları ve internet sitelerinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmada Cumhuriyet öncesi dönemden Çocuk Evleri Hizmet Modeli'ne geçiş sürecine kadar olan süreç detaylı biçimde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini bir STK bünyesinde çalışan aralarında psikolog ve sosyal çalışmacıların olduğu 20 meslek elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Meslek elemanları ile çocuk evlerindeki deneyimleri üzerine yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda çocuk evlerinde psikososyal destek sağlayan meslek elemanlarının çocuk evleri hizmet modeline ve sunulan hizmetlere ilişkin olumlu görüşlerinin olduğu ancak süreç içerisinde mevzuat ve işleyişle ilgili birçok olumsuz durumla karşılaştıkları sonucuna varılmıştır.

With the research done; It is aimed to examine the thoughts and evaluations of the professionals working in an NGO and who have experience in providing psychosocial support to children under state protection, regarding the children's home service model and the services provided. The research was carried out using the qualitative research model. In the process, previously written theses, studies, periodicals, laws and regulations, archive resources and internet sites were used with the literature review method. In the study, the process from the pre-Republican period to the transition to the Children's Houses Service Model was examined in detail. The sample of the study consists of 20 professional staff, including psychologists and social workers, working within an NGO. Interviews were conducted with the professionals about their experiences in children's homes through a semi-structured interview form. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the professionals who provide psychosocial support in children's homes have positive opinions about the children's home service model and the services provided, but they encountered many negative situations related to the legislation and operation in the process.
