Öğretim üyeleri ve okul müdürlerinin görüşlerine göre ideal okul yönetimi: Fenomenolojik bir analiz

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretim görevlileri ve okul müdürlerinin görüşlerine göre ideal okul yönetimi ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden Olgu Bilim (Fenomenoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2020- 2021 eğitim- öğretim yılında, Eğitim Yönetimi alanında görev yapan, 7 Dr. Öğretim görevlisi ve yine İstanbul ili Çekmeköy ilçesinde görev yapan, en az 10 yıl yöneticilik yapmış, 10 ilkokul müdürü, 10 lise müdürü olmak üzere toplam 27 kişiden oluşmuştur. Katılımcılar belirlenirken amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak görüşleri tespit etmeye yönelik araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve 5 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler toplanırken, Covid-19 salgın hastalığı nedeniyle araştırmacı ve katılımcıları tehlikeye atmamak için görüntülü görüşme programı ile birebir görüşülerek ses kaydı alınmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular tablolaştırılarak ve direk alıntılar yapılarak sunulmuştur. Yapılan analiz sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre ideal okul yönetimi, okulun şartlarına ve çevre koşullarına göre değişen, amaca ulaşma derecesidir. Tüm öğrencilerin başaracağına inanan öğrenme temelli yönetim anlayışıdır. Yenilikçi ve teknolojiye dayalı uygulamalar, veriye dayalı yönetim, öğrenen okul, İşbirlikçi, takım halinde çalışan katılımcı yönetimdir. İnsanı merkeze alan, demokratik, şeffaf yönetim, kriz durumlarını yönetebilen, toplumun beklentisini bilen, okul içi ve dışı paydaşlarla işbirliği yapan yönetimdir. İdeal okul, öğretmeni, öğrencisi ve velisi mutlu, çevreden olumlu imaj sahibi ve tercih edilen okuldur.

The aim of this study is to study on the ideal school management according to the views of lecturers and school principals. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group of the research consisted of 7 PhD, 10 primary school managers and 10 high school managers who had worked as a manager for at least 10 years. While determining the participants, criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was used. A semi-structured interview form consisting of 5 questions was used as the data collection tool developed by the researcher to determine the opinions. While collecting the data, in order not to endanger the researchers and participants due to the Covid-19 pandemic, voice recording was taken by interviewing one-to-one with the video interview program. Audio recordings were analyzed with content analysis technique. The data obtained were interpreted by dividing them into themes, sub-themes and codes. As a result of the analysis, the ideal school management is the degree of reaching the goal, which varies according to the conditions of the school and environmental conditions. It is a learning-based management approach that believes that all students will succeed. Innovative and technology-based applications, data-based management, collaborative, participatory management working as a team. It is a democratic, transparent administration that puts people at the center, manages crisis situations, knows the expectations of the society, and cooperates with stakeholders inside and outside the school. A school with an ideal management is a preferred school with a happy teacher, student and parent, and a positive image from the environment.
