Öz Düzenleme Becerilerini Geliştirmeyi Amaçlayan Eğitim Programının Özel Yetenekli Öğrencilerde Etkililiğinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı öz düzenleme becerilerini geliştirmeyi amaçlayan eğitim programının özel yetenekli öğrencilerde etkililiğinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla uygulayıcı tarafından özel yetenekli öğrencilerde öz düzenleme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik eğitim programı geliştirilmiştir. Hazırlanan eğitim programı haftada bir gün 80 dakika olmak üzere 12 hafta boyunca uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 2023-2024 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece ilçesinde BİLSEM’E devam eden 4. Sınıf özel yetenekli 22 öğrenciden oluşturulmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Yılmaz (2020) tarafından geliştirilen ‘Öz Düzenleme Ölçeği’ ve çalışma grubunun özelliklerini belirlemeye yönelik hazırlanan ‘Bilgi Toplama Formu’ kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS programı kullanılmış, ölçümler ise Kolmogrov-Smirnov ve Shapiro-Wilk normallik testleri, bağımsız örneklemler t testi ve eşleştirilmiş örneklemler t testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgularda ortaya çıkan sonuçların istatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyi .05 olarak baz alınmış, hesaplama ve yorumlamalar bu yönde şekillenmiştir. Araştırmada ortaya çıkan sonuca göre özel yetenekli öğrencilerin öz düzenleme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik hazırlanan eğitim programının, öğrencilerin öz düzenleme becerilerini olumlu yönde geliştirdiği ve etkili olduğu görülmüştür.

The aim of the study is to examine the effectiveness of the education program aimed at improving self-regulation skills in gifted students. For this purpose, a training program has been developed by the practitioner to improve self-regulation skills in gifted students. The prepared training program was implemented for 12 weeks, once a week for 80 minutes. In the study, a quasi-experimental research model with pre-testpost-test control group was used. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the working group is the 4th student who attends BİLSEM in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul. The class consisted of 22 students with special abilities. The 'Self-Regulation Scale' developed by Yılmaz (2020) and the ‘Information Collection Form' prepared to determine the characteristics of the study group were used as data collection tools. SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data, and the measurements were analyzed by Kolmogrov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests, independent samples t-test and combined samples t-test. The statistical significance level of the results was taken as .05, and the calculations and interpretations were shaped in this direction. According to the results of the research, it was seen that the education program prepared to improve the self-regulation skills of gifted students developed the selfregulation skills of the students positively and was effective.
