Ebeveyn çocuk ilişkisi ve toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu ile ebeveynlerin yetersizlik duygusu arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ebeveyn çocuk ilişkisi ve toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu kavramlarının ebeveynlerde yetersizlik duygusu ile ilişkisinin incelenmesi ve ebeveyn çocuk ilişkisi ile toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumunun yetersizlik duygusunu anlamlı bir düzeyde yordayıp yordamadığının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu temel amaç çerçevesinde ebeveyn çocuk ilişkisi, toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu ve yetersizlik duygusunun çeşitli değişkenlere göre aralarındaki anlamlı farklılık araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu İstanbul ilinde yaşayan 3 ile 15 yaş arasında çocuğu olan 403 ebeveyn oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", Türkçe uyarlamasını Aytaç, Çen ve Yüceol'un (2018) yaptığı "Ebeveyn- Çocuk İlişkisi Ölçeği", Zeyneloğlu ve Terzioğlu (2011) tarafından geliştirilen "Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği", Akdoğan ve Ceyhan (2014) tarafından geliştirilen "Yetersizlik Duygusu Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesi için frekans analizi, bağımsız gruplar t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), pearson korelasyon analizi ve regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; ebeveynlerin ebeveyn çocuk ilişkisi düzeyleri cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, çalışma durumu, gelir durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; yaş, çocuk sayısı ve aile türü değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Ebeveynlerin toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumları cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş, gelir durumu ve aile türü değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; eğitim düzeyi, çalışma durumu ve çocuk sayısına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Ebeveynlerin yetersizlik duygusu düzeyleri tüm değişkenlerle ele alındığında anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Korelasyon analizleri sonucunda, toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu ve yetersizlik duygusu arasında anlamlı, pozitif yönde ve düşük düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Yapılan regresyon analizine göre, toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu envanterinden alınan puanların yetersizlik duygusunu %2,8 oranında anlamlı şekilde yordadığı görülmüştür.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between the concepts of parent-child relationship and gender role attitude and the feeling of inadequacy in parents and to examine whether parent-child relationship and gender role attitude predict the feeling of inadequacy at a significant level. Within the framework of this main purpose, the significant difference between parent-child relationship, gender role attitude and sense of inadequacy was investigated according to various variables. In this study, the relational survey model, one of the survey models, was used. The study group consists of 403 parents with children between the ages of 3 and 15 living in Istanbul. In the research, "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher as data collection tool, "Sense of Inadequacy Scale" developed by Akdoğan and Ceyhan (2014), "Gender Roles Attitude Scale" developed by Zeyneloğlu and Terzioğlu (2011), Aytaç, Çen and Yüceol (2018) adapted into Turkish, the "Parent-Child Relationship Scale" was used. Frequency analysis, independent groups t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. According to the results obtained from the research; while the parent-child relationship levels of the parents did not show a significant difference according to the variables of gender, marital status, education level, employment status, income status; shows a significant difference according to age, number of children and family type variables. While the gender role attitudes of the parents did not show a significant difference according to the variables of gender, marital status, age, income status and family type; It differs significantly according to education level, employment status and number of children. Parents' sense of inadequacy did not show a significant difference when considered with all variables. As a result of the correlation analysis, a significant, positive and low level relationship was found between gender role attitudes and feelings of inadequacy. According to the regression analysis, it was seen that the scores obtained from the gender role attitude inventory significantly predicted the sense of inadequacy by 2.8%.
