Tarih konulu dizilerin ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin tarih dersine yönelik tutumlarına etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma tarih konulu dizilerin ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin tarih dersine ilişkin tutumuna etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ili Başakşehir ve Küçükçekmece ilçelerinde ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise, İstanbul ili Başakşehir ve Küçükçekmece ilçelerinde bulunan 3 Anadolu Lisesinden 290 öğrenci, 3 Meslek Lisesinden 291 öğrenci ve 3 İmam Hatip Lisesinden 289 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma da tarih dersine ve tarih konulu dizilere yönelik tutum ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Ölçekler, araştırmanın amacı çerçevesinde İstanbul Millî Eğitim Müdürlüğü'nden gerekli izinler alınarak belirlenen örneklem üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerden toplanan verilerin analizi SPSS programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulgular değerlendirildiğinde tarih dizilerinin ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin tarih dersine ilişkin tutumlarına etki ettiği, tarih konulu dizilere olan ilgideki artışın tarih dersi tutumunu da arttırdığı gözlemlenmiştir. Tarih dizilerinin tarih dersi tutumunu %11 oranında açıkladığı ve tarih dizisi ölçeğindeki bir birimlik artışın tarih dersi tutumunda olumlu artışa sebep olduğu görülmüştür.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of history series on the attitudes of high school students towards history course. Relational survey model was used in the study. The population of the study consists of students studying in the secondary education institutions in Başakşehir and Küçükcekmece districts of İstanbul. The sample of the study consists of 290 students from 3 Anatolian High Schools, 291 students from 3 Vocational High Schools and 289 students from 3 Imam Hatip High Schools in Başakşehir and Küçükcekmece districts of İstanbul. Attitude scales for history course and history series were used with the research. For the purpose of the study, necessary permissions were obtained From Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and the scale was applied on the sample. The data collected from the students were analyzed using SPSS 23 program. When the findings were evaluated, it was observed that history series affected the attitudes of high school students towards history course and increased interest in history series increased history course attitude. It was seen that history series explained the history course attitude by 11% and one unit increase in the history series scale led to pozitif increase in history course attitude.
