Din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi öğretmenlerinin iletişim becerileri ile mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmenlerinin iletişim becerileri ile mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Nicel araştırma yönteminde kurgulanan çalışmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Trabzon il ve ilçelerindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan 258 Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; kişisel bilgi formu, iletişim becerileri envanteri ve tükenmişlik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. İletişim becerileri ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin cinsiyet, medeni durum ve eğitim düzeyi değişkenine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını t testiyle; yaş, mesleki deneyim, mezun olunan fakülte, kademe türü, öğrenci sayısı ve şu anki okulda çalışma süresine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ise tek yönlü ANOVA ile incelenmiştir. Araştırmada iletişim becerileri ve tükenmişlik arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla Pearson Momentler Korelasyon Katsayıları hesaplanmış, iletişim becerileri algılarının, tükenmişlik algılarının anlamlı yordayıcısı olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları değerlendirildiğinde öğretmenlerin iletişim becerilerinin cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, mesleki deneyim, eğitim düzeyi, mezun olunan fakülte, kademe türü ve şu anki okulda çalışma süresi değişkenlerine göre herhangi bir farklılaşmaya sebep olmadığı bulunurken öğrenci sayısı değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılığa sebep olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin tükenmişlik algılarının ise medeni durum, mesleki deneyim, eğitim düzeyi, mezun olunan fakülte, öğrenci sayısı, şu anki okulda çalışma süresi, yaş ve kademe türü değişkenlerine göre farklılaşmadığı bulunurken cinsiyet değişkenine göre ise anlamlı farklılığa sebep olduğu görülmüştür. İletişim becerileri ile tükenmişlik arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. İletişim becerileri tükenmişliği anlamlı bir şekilde yordayıp iletişim becerilerine ilişkin toplam varyansın %11'ini açıkladığını ve iletişim becerilerinin tükenmişliğe olan etkisinin anlamlı olduğunu göstermiştir.

The main reason of this study is to investigate the relation between the communication skills of the teachers of ''Religious Culture & Moral Knowledge'' and the levels of their occupational burnout. The correlational survey model was used in the study that was built on the quantitative method. The working group of this research consists of 258 teachers of Religious Culture & Moral Knowledge that are working in primary, secondary and high schools associated with the National Education Ministry in Trabzon and its districts in the 2021-2022 school year. A personal information form, an inventory of communication skills and a scale of occupational burnout were used as the data collection tool in the research. A t-test was used to study whether communication skills and the levels of occupational burnout change according to the variables of gender and marital status, and one-way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis were used to study whether communication skills and the levels of occupational burnout change according to age, occupational experience, educational attainment, graduation faculty, the type of grade, the number of students and working span at present school. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients were calculated to determine the relation between communication skills and occupational burnout in the study, and regression analysis was made to determine whether communication skills are meaningful predictor variable to the perceptions of occupational burnout. When research findings were evaluated, it was found out that communication skills of the teachers didn't cause any changes according to the variables of gender, age, marital status, occupational experience, educational attainment, graduation faculty, the type of grade and working span at present school, but they caused significant changes according to the variable of the number of students. It was also found out that occupational burnout perceptions of the teachers didn't change according to marital status, of age, the type of grade, occupational experience, educational attainment, graduation faculty, the number of students and working span at present school, but they caused significant changes according to the variables of gender. A medium-level meaningful relation in the positive direction was discovered between communication skills and occupational burnout. It was realized that communication skills predicted occupational burnout in a meaningful way and it accounted 11% of the total variants in relation to communication skills and the effects of communication skills on occupational burnout was meaningful.
