İlkçağda Sokrates'e kadar siyasal düşünce ve eğitim

Abstract

Bu makalenin amacı ilkçağda Sokrates’e kadar siyasal düşüncenin gelişimini incelemektir. Siyasal düşünce insanın toplumun gelişmesini, kültür aktarımını kurumlar ve devlet ile ilişkisi dahilinde incelemiştir. Bundan dolayıdır ki eğitim düşüncesinin şekillenme süreciyle siyasal düşüncenin gelişimi arasında sıkı bir ilişki vardır. İlkçağ, insanlığın başlangıç devridir. Siyasal düşüncenin doğuşunu incelemek için ilkçağdan başlamak gereklidir. Araştırma; siyasal düşüncenin başlangıcını içeren giriş, ilkçağda siyasal düşünce, Eski Yunan’da polis ve kent yönetimi, ilk düşünürler, sofistler, Sokrates, sonuç başlıkları altında beş ana bölüme ayrılmıştır. İlk düşünürler başlığında açıklanan filozoflar, Thales, Anaximandros, Anaksimenes, Herakleitos, Pythagoras, Empedokles, Anaxagoras, Democrıtus. Sofistler, bireyci bir yaklaşım benimsemişlerdir. Eğitimi temel problem olarak ele almışlardır. Sokrates, sofistleri eleştirmiştir. Eğittiği gençlerden onlar gibi para almamıştır. Etik değerlere ilişkin görüşlerini açıkça ortaya koymuştur. Ona göre toplumu soylular değil hem bilgili hem de erdemli olan bireyler yönetmelidir.

The aim of this article, to examine the development of political thought in ancient times until Socrates. Political thought,examined within people's and society's development and the transfered of cultural institutions and goverment relations. The formation process of the education for it by thinking there is a close link between the development of political thought.Ancient time,humanity is the emergence of political thought necessary to start from antiquity. Research; Entry includes the start of the political thought, political thought in ancient times, police and city administration in ancient Greek,the first philosophers, sophists, as Socrates and the results is divided in to five main sections. Philosopher described the first thinkers; Thales, Anaximandros, Anaksimenes, Herakleitos, Pythagoras, Empedokles, Anaxagoras, Democrıtus. Sophists individualistic approach adopted. Training were considered as the main problem. Socrates has criticized the sophists they did not receive money for the train youth. Clearly it revealed his views on ethics. According to him,society is not nobility, manages to be both knowledgeable and virtuous individuals.
