Dinî Tecrübe Açısından Keşf ve Sezgi: Sühreverdî ve Henri Bergson Örneği

Abstract

Din felsefesinin önemli konularından olan dinî tecrübenin, çağdaş düşüncede önemi açıkça ortadadır. Büyük ölçüde duyuların devrede olduğu, gündelik tecrübelerden çok daha farklı olan dinî tecrübe tabiatüstü, kutsal bir varlığa yöneliş, hazır bulunan kutsal varlık ile buluşmadır. Tasavvuf kültüründe ön plana çıkan "zevk" ve "vecd" hallerini içerisine dâhil edebileceğimiz bir konudur. Dinî tecrübe ve onun kazandırdığı bilgi, din ve iman tecrübesi söz konusu olduğunda çok önemlidir. "Keşf" ve "sezgi" kavramları, bu tecrübeyi yaşanabilir ve anlaşılır kılan iki önemli yetidir. Bu çalışmada, dinî tecrübe ile erişilen bilginin doğru değerlendirilebilmesi için "bilgi" konusu epistemolojik olarak incelenmiştir. "Dinî tecrübe" ifadesinde yer alan "tecrübe" kavramının anlam ve önemine, tarihsel süreçte kulanım türlerine değinilmiştir. Sühreverdî ve Henri Bergson'un "keşf" ve "sezgi" kavramları ile ne kast ettiklerine açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu iki düşünürün felsefelerinin temel kavramları olan "keşf" ve "sezgi"nin, dinî tecrübe açısından ne derece önemli olduğuna, düşünürlerin felsefelerinde neye karşılık geldiğine açıklık getirmeye çalışılmıştır.

The importance of religious experience, which is one of the important subjects of the philosophy of religion, in contemporary thought is clearly evident. Religious experience, which is very different from daily experiences in which the senses are largely active, is a turning towards a supernatural, sacred being and meeting with a present holy being. It is a subject in which we can include the states of "pleasure" and "ecstasy" that come to the fore in Sufi culture. Religious experience and the knowledge it provides are very important when it comes to the experience of religion and faith. The concepts of "kashf" and "intuition" are two important abilities that make this experience livable and understandable. In this study, the subject of "knowledge" was examined epistemologically in order to correctly evaluate the knowledge gained through religious experience. The meaning and importance of the concept of "experience" in the expression "religious experience" and its usage types in the historical process are mentioned. An attempt has been made to clarify what Suhrawardi and Henri Bergson mean by the concepts of "kashf" and "intuition". It has been tried to clarify how important "kashf" and "intuition", which are the basic concepts of the philosophies of these two thinkers, are in terms of religious experience and what they correspond to in the philosophers' philosophies.
