Bağlanma Stilleri ile Yaşam Doyumu ve Sosyal Beceriler Arasındaki İlişkinin Ortaokul Öğrencileri Örnekleminde İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, ortaokul öğrencilerinin bağlanma stilleri ile yaşam doyumu ve sosyal becerileri arasındaki ilişkileri incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. İstanbul'da 640 öğrenci üzerinde yapılan çalışmada, "Üç Boyutlu Bağlanma Stilleri Ölçeği", "Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği" ve "Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği" gibi araçlar kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 22.0 programıyla analiz edilmiş, betimsel istatistikler, t testi, varyans analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlara göre, Güvenli Bağlanma, sosyal beceri ve yaşam doyumu ile pozitif; Kaçınan ve Kaygılı-Kararsız Bağlanma ise bu değişkenlerle negatif ilişkilidir. Kız öğrenciler Güvenli Bağlanma, Sosyal Kurallar ve Yaşam Doyumu alanlarında erkeklerden daha yüksek puan alırken, erkekler Kaçınan Bağlanma ve genel sosyal becerilerde üstün bulunmuştur. Dışa dönük öğrenciler Güvenli Bağlanma ve yaşam doyumu açısından içe dönüklerden daha yüksek puan almıştır. Ayrıca, anne-babası evli olan öğrenciler sosyal beceri ve yaşam doyumunda daha olumlu sonuçlar göstermiştir. Sınıf düzeyine göre 5. sınıf öğrencileri, Kaçınan Bağlanma dışındaki tüm ölçeklerde daha yüksek puan almıştır. Regresyon analizleri, Sosyal Kurallar, Hoşlanılabilirlik ve Yaşam Doyumunun Güvenli Bağlanmayı pozitif; Kaçınan ve Kaygılı-Kararsız Bağlanmayı ise negatif yönde etkilediğini göstermiştir. Sosyal beceriler ile yaşam doyumu arasında güçlü bir pozitif ilişki bulunmuş, özellikle Sosyal Kurallar alt boyutu ile en güçlü ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, öğrencilerin bağlanma stillerinin duygusal ve sosyal gelişimlerini önemli ölçüde etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu bulgular, eğitimciler, ebeveynler ve psikologlar için öğrencilerin yaşam kalitelerini artırmak ve sosyal ilişkilerini güçlendirmek adına stratejiler geliştirilmesine rehberlik etmektedir

This research aims to examine the relationships between attachment styles and life satisfaction and social skills of middle school students. In the study conducted on 640 students in Istanbul, data were collected using tools such as the "Three-Dimensional Attachment Styles Scale", "Social Skills Scale" and "Life Satisfaction Scale". The data were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program, and descriptive statistics, t-test, variance analysis and multiple regression analysis methods were applied. According to the results, Secure Attachment is positively related to social skills and life satisfaction; Avoidant and Anxious-Ambivalent Attachment is negatively related to these variables. While female students scored higher than males in Secure Attachment, Social Rules and Life Satisfaction, males were found to be superior in Avoidant Attachment and general social skills. Extroverted students scored higher than introverts in terms of Secure Attachment and life satisfaction. In addition, students with married parents showed more positive results in social skills and life satisfaction. According to the grade level, 5th grade students scored higher in all scales except Avoidant Attachment. Regression analyses showed that Social Rules, Likeability and Life Satisfaction positively affected Secure Attachment and negatively affected Avoidant and Anxious-Ambivalent Attachment. A strong positive relationship was found between social skills and life satisfaction, with the strongest relationship being found especially with the Social Rules sub-dimension. The research results show that students' attachment styles significantly affect their emotional and social development. These findings guide educators, parents and psychologists in developing strategies to increase students' quality of life and strengthen their social relationships.
