Destek eğitim odası öğretmeninin rol ve sorumlulukları

Abstract

Destek eğitim odası (DEO) hizmeti destek özel eğitim hizmetlerinden biridir. DEO hizmetinde, destek eğitim odası öğretmeniyle belirli zaman dilimde özel gereksinimli öğrenciye bireysel veya küçük grup şeklinde bireyselleştirilmiş bir eğitim verilmektedir. Bu nedenle DEO hizmetinde anahtar kişi DEO öğretmeni olmaktadır. Bu konumundan dolayı DEO öğretmenin doğrudan ve dolaylı rol ve sorumlulukları bulunmaktadır. Alanyazın DEO öğretmenlerinin özel eğitim olduğunu bildirmektedir. Ancak Türkiye’de farklı nedenlerle özel eğitim öğretmeni yerine DEO’da öğretmeni görevlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada bir derleme çalışmasıdır. DEO, Türkiye’de oldukça yeni bir hizmettir. Yapılan araştırmalar, DEO paydaşlarının rol ve sorumluluklarına ilişkin belirsizlik ve karmaşa yaşadığını bildirmektedir. Bu belirsizliklerin ortadan kalkması adına DEO öğretmenin rol ve sorumluluklarının belirginleştirilmesi önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmayla DEO öğretmeninin rol ve sorumlulukları açıklanarak Türkiye’de DEO öğretmenlerinin bilinmeyen rol ve sorumluluklarına açıklık getirilmiştir. Bu araştırma sonucu Türkiye’de DEO öğretmenlerinin dolaylı sorumluluğu olan danışmanlık hizmetinin rehber öğretmenler tarafından gerçekleştirildiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca DEO öğretmenlerinin doğrudan rollerine bağlı olarak sadece öğretim yaptığı anlaşılmıştır.Resource room (RR) service is one of the support special education service. The RR service, individualized training is given to the student with special needs in a specific time period with the RR teacher. The RR service may be in individual or small groups. The key person in the RR service is the RR teacher. However, the task is not to make a special education teacher in the RR in Turkey. The teacher is assigned in the RR. In this study, which was counducted as an informative review. The RR is a relatively new service in Turkey. The researches reported that the RR stakeholders experience uncertainty and confusion regarding their roles and responsibilities. In order to eliminate these uncertainties, it becomes important to clarify the roles and responsibilities of the RR teacher. These roles and responsibilities of the work with RR teacher explained clarify the roles and responsibilities of unknown RR teacher was brought in Turkey. The results of this reseach carried out by guide counselors report that the indirect responsibility of counseling the RR teacher in Turkey. It was also understood that only teaching was carried out depending on the direct roles of the teachers of the RR.
