Tasavvuf kültüründe Hz. Süleyman

Abstract

İnsanlığa hidayet rehberi olarak gönderilen Kur'ân-ı Kerim'de peygamber kıssaları önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Kur'ân'da peygamber kıssalarının yer almasındaki temel amaçlar arasında insanların kıssalar üzerinden ibret almaları, iyiliğe teşvik edilmeleri, kötülükten alıkonulmaları ve karşılaşacakları sıkıntılı durumlarda teselli edilmeleri sayılabilir. Sûfîler bu amaçlarla birlikte kıssaların manevi yolculukta nelere tekabül edeceği üzerinde durmuşlardır. Bu anlamda kıssaları bazen bazı tasavvufî kavramları açıklamak bazen de sâlikin seyr u sülûk sırasında karşılaşacağı hal ve makamların izahında kullanmışlardır. Ayrıca peygamberlerin metafizik açıdan hangi hakikatlere tekabül ettiğini yine ayetlerle bağlantılı olarak izah etmişlerdir. Peygamberliğinin yanı sıra hükümdar da olan Hz. Süleyman'ın kıssası da sûfîlerin eserinde bu bağlamda yerini almıştır. Bu tezde Hz. Süleyman ile alakalı ayetlerin işârî tefsirlerdeki yorumları, tasavvuf klasiklerinde tasavvufî kavram, hal ve makamların izahı ve tasavvufî edebiyattaki kullanım örnekleri üzerinden tasavvuf kültüründeki yeri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The stories of prophets hold a significant place in the Qur'an, which was sent as a guidance for all humanity. These stories serve various essential purposes, such as enabling people to draw lessons, encouraging them towards goodness, deterring them from evil, and providing solace during times of hardship. Consequently, including the stories of prophets in the Qur'an serves to fulfill these fundamental objectives. In keeping with these primary purposes of the stories, Sufi scholars often included the stories of the prophets in their works. Sometimes they have used these stories to elucidate certain Sufi concepts and at other times to explain the states and stations encountered by the sufi wayfarer along his journey. The story of Prophet Solomon, who was not only a prophet but also a ruler, has found its place in the works of Sufi scholars. This thesis aims to determine the position of Prophet Solomon in Sufi culture through the interpretations of relevant verses in allegorical exegesis (ishari tafsir), explanations of Sufi concepts, states, and stations in Sufi classics, as well as examples of its usage in Sufi literature.
