4-6 Yaş Çocuk Eğitim ve Oyun Mekânlarında Mekân Standartlarının Analizi

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı 4-6 yaş çocuk eğitim ve oyun mekânlarında mekân standartlarının analiz edilmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni İstanbul ilinin üç farklı ilçesinde bulunan resmi ve özel okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarından; Sultangazi Maya Anaokulu ve İvat Turhan Anaokulu, Başakşehir Final Anaokulu ve Eyüp Sultan Esa Karadolap Anaokulu oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında anaokullarında incelemeler ve ölçümler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ABD, Avrupa ve Türkiye okul öncesi eğitim ve oyun mekânları standartları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler neticesinde araştırmanın evreni olarak belirlenen okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında özel eğitim kurumlarının standartlara büyük oranda uygun olduğu, resmî kurumların ise standartlara uygunluğu yetersiz olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında istenilen oranda verim alınabilmesi için fiziksel anlamda sağlanan koşullar önem arz etmektedir. Sınıf içi ve dışı fiziksel ortam tasarımları, açık ve kapalı oyun alanlarının ortam tasarımları, eğitim kalitesinin tanında çocukların davranışlarını da etkilemektedir. Bu kapsamda hazırlanan okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarının eğitim ve oyun ortamlarında donatıları bir yandan çocukların aldıkları eğitimin kalitesini yükseltecek diğer yandan çocuğun davranışlarında olumlu yansımalar oluşturacaktır. Gerekli eğitim araç-gereçleri, güvenlik önlemleri alınmış ve standartlara uygunluk arttıkça okul öncesi eğitim ortamları ve donanımlarında bulunması gereken nitelikler daha iyi hale getirilmiştir.

The aim of the study is to analyze the spatial standards in education and play spaces for children aged 4-6. A quantitative research model was used in the study. The universe of the study consists of official and private preschool education institutions located in three different districts of Istanbul; Sultangazi Maya Kindergarten and Ivat Turhan Kindergarten, Başakşehir Final Kindergarten and Eyüp Sultan Esa Karadolap Kindergarten. In the collection of data, examinations and measurements were made in the kindergartens. The obtained data were compared with the standards of preschool education and play spaces in the USA, Europe and Turkey. As a result of the examinations, it was determined that the private educational institutions in the preschool education institutions determined as the universe of the study were largely in compliance with the standards, while the official institutions were insufficiently in compliance with the standards. In order to obtain the desired efficiency in preschool education institutions, the physical conditions provided are important. The physical environment designs inside and outside the classroom, the environment designs of open and closed playgrounds also affect the behavior of children in the definition of education quality. In this context, the equipment in the education and play environments of preschool education institutions prepared will increase the quality of education received by children on the one hand, and will create positive reflections on the child's behavior on the other. Necessary educational tools and safety precautions have been taken, and as compliance with the standards increases, the qualities that should be found in preschool education environments and equipment have been improved.
