Anne, Baba ve Kendilik Algısı ile Rüya Temaları Arasındaki İlişkide Psikolojik Semptomların ve Öz Konuşmanın Aracı Rolünün İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu tez araştırmada anne, baba ve kendilik algısı ile rüya temaları arasındaki ilişkide öz konuşma, depresyon ve anksiyete değişkenleri ile kurulmuş bir model kapsamında aracılık rolünün incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Bağlanma Temelli Zihinsel Temsiller Ölçeği (BTZTÖ), Rüya Temaları Ölçeği (RTÖ), Öz Konuşma Ölçeği (ÖKÖ) ve Kısa Semptom Envanteri (KSE) kullanılarak belirlenen hipotezler doğrultusunda gerekli analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, 415 kadın ve 300 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 715 kişinin katılımları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın ana değişkenlerinin cinsiyete ve yaşa göre karşılaştırılması sonucunda hem cinsiyete hem de yaşa göre anlamlı bir farkın bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada teorik olarak birbiriyle ilişkili görünen rüya temaları, anne-baba-kendilik algısı, öz konuşma, depresyon ve anksiyete degişkenleri arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek amacıyla yapılan istatistiki analizlerin sonucunda araştırmanın hipotezlerini destekleyecek şekilde değişkenler arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan regresyon analizlerin sonucunda rüya temalarının farklı kombinasyonlardaki anne-baba-kendilik algısı, öz konuşma, depresyon ve anksiyete değişkenleri ile anlamlı olarak yordayabileceği bulgulanmıştır. Yürütülen aracılık analizleri ve kurulan modeller sonucunda anne, baba ve kendilik algısı arasındaki ilişkide öz konuşma, depresyon ve anksiyetenin aracılık rolünün olduğu belirlenmiştir.

In this thesis research, it is aimed to examine the mediating role of the relationship between mother, father, self-perception and dream themes within the scope of a model established with self-talk, depression and anxiety variables. For this purpose, necessary analyses were carried out in line with the determined hypotheses using the Attachment-Based Mental Representations Scale (ABMRS), Dream Themes Scale (DTS), Self-Talk Scale (STS) and Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI). The research was carried out with the participation of a total of 715 people, 415 women and 300 men. As a result of the comparison of the main variables of the research according to gender and age, it was determined that there was a significant difference both in terms of gender and age. As a result of the statistical analyses conducted in order to examine the relationships between the variables of dream themes, mother-father-self- perception, self-talk, depression and anxiety, which seem to be theoretically related to each other, it was determined that there were significant relationships between the variables that supported the hypotheses of the research. As a result of the regression analyses, it was found that dream themes could be significantly predicted by different combinations of mother-father-self-perception, self-talk, depression and anxiety variables. As a result of the conducted mediation analyses and established models, it was determined that self-talk, depression and anxiety had a mediating role in the relationship between mother, father and self-perception.
